Ingredients
2 (8 inch) white cake layers
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
2 cups milk
1 package instant pudding mix
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
12 maraschino cherries
2 pints fresh strawberries
1 pint fresh blueberries
2 bananas

Directions
Cut all the fruits. For the strawberries and sprinkle them with sugar. Place the cut Bananas in orange juice to prevent browning. Add pudding mix with milk. Slice the cake into cubes. Line the bottom of a large glass bowl with the cubes. This is where the fun part begins. Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Spread half of the pudding over the fruit. Repeat until you ran out of ingredients. For the garnishing, whip the cream to stiff peaks and spread over top of trifle. Decorate with the cherries and slivered almonds.
